CASSELL PRAIRIE BUNNIES SALES POLICY
MY SALES POLICY IS STATED AS FOLLOWS: SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE.
I BELIEVE IN QUALITY NOT QUANTITY! I have a small rabbitry. I raise and sell healthy rabbits. When you purchase a rabbit from my barn, I want you as the buyer to inspect that rabbit while you are here. Looking it over thoroughly and making sure it is indeed what you want to take home with you on that day. If you so choose to do so. When you view the animal or animals you wish to purchase, and we have agreed upon a price and everything on the animal or animals check out, my guarantee is as follows.
RABBITS SOLD FROM MY BARN:
Any rabbit in my barn will be sold as is. After a complete inspection by the buyer, as well as myself the seller, I can guarantee that the animal is healthy and has been well taken care of while in my barn. When purchasing any Senior animals (Bucks or Does)I will let you know with complete honesty what they had produced for me. I will also show you any young stock out of those rabbits if you are interested.
Junior rabbits (bucks and does) will also be sold as is after a complete inspection by the buyer/seller.
At the time of sale, we will check over over the animal or animals that you wish to purchase to be sure that there are no disqualifications Inc. the sex, teeth, nails, eyes, and the like for show animals. (this does not include pets) You will receive a pedigree, any legs or other papers on that animal ( if there are any registrations to be transferred over) as well as a bill of sale! I do not give pedigrees for pets rabbits. There is no guarantee on any PETS sold out of my barn, so no money shall be returned for any problems that arise.
SELLING SENIOR BUCKS OR DOES: Most of the senior does in my barn are my brood does. I have a variety of show does as well as a few Big brood does. I use them all in my breeding program. I try to get at least 1 to 2 litters from these rabbits before I sell them to anyone. The same goes for the senior bucks I want to sell. I will use them on all my does to see if they can produce a litter. I will be honest with you when I tell you that the doe/ buck has produced young. I cannot guarantee that a Buck will produce or a Doe will kindle a litter once it leaves my barn. But if you purchase something from me and are having problems getting them bred, I will always offer suggestions on how to get those animals bred. Finally, the rabbit's general health once sold is the buyers responsibility.
PURCHASING RABBITS FROM CASSELL PRAIRIE BUNNIES:
If you wish to purchase a rabbit from me, and would like me to bring this animal to a cooped show or a National Convention, It will be the responsibility of the buyer to send me a 25% non-refundable deposit on that animal (Animals) as well as the entry fee to put that animal (animals) in a coop/coops while it is there to be held for the potential buyer. If the buyer decides not to take the animal/animals I bring for them, I will have the right to sell those animals to the next breeder who is interested. I can and do send pictures of rabbits I have for sale on occasion for the potential buyer to view if they so request. I DO NOT LIKE TO SHIP RABBITS!
HOLDING ANIMALS FOR BUYERS:
I will no longer hold rabbits for anyone MORE THAN 3 days at my home! (this excludes some transactions made for National Conventions or cooped Shows) I have had too many people ask me to hold animals for them and they do not come sometimes for weeks. They may not even show up at all or even give me a call to let me know they decided not to take them. I will request a 25% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for any rabbits I am asked to keep for (NO LONGER THAN) than 3 days. If the buyer does not return for the rabbit I will sell it to the next person in line who is waiting, and the 25% deposit will not be returned to the previous buyer. I do not feel I should have to care and feed an animal for someone who says they want it, only to come and pick it up at their convenience! I am not in the business of boarding rabbits for people. I dedicate a lot of time and effort to keep them fed, clean and well cared for. I have many other people who are interested and are ready to take them home.
VISITING MY RABBITRY:
If you wish to visit my rabbitry, I do this by appointment only. I would be happy to set up a day and time that you can visit and view some of the animals that I have for sale in my barn. Although I have photos of FOR SALE animals, I as a breeder feel better when I can put my hands on the rabbit I want to purchase. I want to know as much as I can about the animal and the breeder who is selling the rabbit. So if you want to visit, just let me know in advance. I can then answer any questions or concerns you may have in regards to the animal, as well as any general questions regarding housing, feeding, showing, or breeding the Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.
Thank you for your interest, and for viewing my website! I look forward to hearing from you, or having you come and visit with me and the rabbits. Please Feel free to e-mail me anytime. I welcome any questions that you may have.
Most Sincerely:
Debbie
